Chocolate Chip Pudding Cookies
VeryBestBaking
Makes 6 Dozen
Ingredients:
4 1/2 cups flour
2 pkgs. Instant vanilla pudding
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
2 cups butter
1 1/2 cups white granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. water
24 ounces chocolate morsels
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, sift together the flour, instant vanilla pudding mix, baking soda, and salt, set aside. Then, in another large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar and brown sugar until it is light and well mixed. Then add the eggs, one at a time, making sure they are well mixed into the creamy mixture. Next, add the vanilla and the water. Carefully add the flour mixture to the creamy mixture and bring the dough together, and just as the flour is beginning to be moistened, add the chocolate morsels. Bake at 370 degrees for about 10 minutes. Allow to cool on cookie sheet 1 minute, then remove and cool on racks. These cookies may appear "not cooked" initially, but will firm-up on the cookie sheet. This recipe will make 6 dozen cookies

Looked again, but don't see if you specified what size box of pudding....I have 2, so don't know which, and I want to make these, TODAY!
ReplyDeleteDiana I think there are only 2 sizes, I used the small box of instant pudding. I'm sorry . I thought I answered this!
ReplyDeleteGirl, I just made these and used M&M's. I halved the recipe, which yielded almost 4 dozen. Wow, you are right. These are amazing! My son gobbled them up and asked for more.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
WHOOT!! Love it Debby!!! They are rich, soft and DELICIOUS!! Thanks for coming back and reviewing!!
ReplyDeleteCould I use sugar free vanilla pudding and splenda white and splenda brown in place of reg sugar??
ReplyDeleteHi Tiffany! Well I've never used sugar free pudding in recipes, but my guess would be you can. You can use the splenda as well. Use the same amount of splenda as for the sugar in the recipe.
